The lower right margin is inscribed \"Takeji suri\" (printed by Takeji), while the lower left margin bears \"Takeji ga koku\" (designed and carved by Takeji), reflecting the artist's direct involvement in every stage of the printmaking process.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOriginally built in the late 15th century by Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa as his retirement villa, Ginkaku-ji later became a Zen temple.
