Truly beautiful woodblock print "Koyasan Konpon Daito, Kondo" (Fundamental Pagoda in Mt. Koya) is by Tomikichiro Tokuriki. This is one of "Koyasan Reiko Eisai" (Spiritual lights of Mt, Koya) series. Titled "Koyasan Konpon Daito, Kondo" (Fundamental Pagoda in Mt. Koya), and artist name "Tomi" on the right edge of the image. Watermark "Tomi" on the upper right corner. This print has vibrant colors and dynamic contrast.

Daito was constructed by Kobo Daishi as the center for the study of Shingon Buddhism. In the center of the tower, there is a statue of the "Universal Buddha" seated in the "Womb Mandala" and surrounded by four protector Buddhas from "Diamond World". This is a unique three-dimensional mandala that comprised of statues and brilliant paintings covering both the tower's walls and its 16 massive columns.
