In this we see "Koinobori" carp shaped flag. "Koi nobori" are most often see on "Tango-no-Sekku" (Boy's Festival) when a carp is flown for each son in the family, a very large one for the eldest, the others ranging down in size. Very peaceful early spring scene. When I see this print, it seems that I can hear the playing voices of children. Very peaceful mountain village scene. Each carp shaped flag has each different colors. This is one of very popular "Boy's day" series.
