The shapes I mainly use are seeds, fruits, flowers, hearts, etc., which have the power to sprout. My recent works are part of the Asian Series and incorporate dyed patterns (batik) from Southeast Asian fabrics as backgrounds. These traditional motifs—based on familiar flowers and butterflies—are full of the vitality of people living in Asia.
