Very eye-catching flower print "Ajisai" (Hydrangea) is by Tomikichiro Tokuriki. Printed in "Shikishi" board. Shikishi is thick and hard colored square sheet of paper used for calligraphic poems or paintings. This is one of "Shiki no hana" (Flowers of Four Seasons) series. Subtitled "Ajisai" (Hydrangea), Artist signature "Tomi" on the left. Hand-signed "Tomikichiro saku" (produced by Tomikichiro) with "Tokuriki" red seal on the back. It comes with original cover which is fair condition as shown. The print is outstanding condition. A humorous Mantis and beautiful butterfly on the large Hydrangea. Very charming and lovely subject. Fine contrast and very vivid colors. This handmade woodblock print put a smile on your face.
