The print was produced as a kuchie frontispiece for a book. Title "Kakitubata" (Iris) This print is very classic and typical Yamato-e style. Artist name "Hanko" with a red seal on the right edge.

仙錦亭 (Senkintei)
The print was produced as a kuchie frontispiece for a novel 仙錦亭 "Senkintei" by Reisui Chizuka (1866-1942), in a literary magazine titled "Bungei kurabu" magazine, Vol 7, No.4 in 1901. Kimono lady and stone wash basin are a very tasteful image. Hanko red seal on the lower right of the image.
