Japanese woodblock print "松葉屋内粧ひ" Matsubayanai Yosōi (Beauty with Camellia) by Eisui Ichirakutei (active 1789 –1804). Originally produced in the Edo period, this is a re-carved edition, published by The National Museum in Showa 22 nen (1947). Eisui was a Japanese Ukiyo-e artist who specialized in Bijin-ga. Titled "Matsubayanai Yosōi" and the artist's signature "Eisui-ga" e on the upper right. Very tasteful Bijinga print.
The small caption is attached to the verso. It states: Published by The National Museum, Supervisor's name: Toyohisa Adachi, Carver's name: Nakajima, Printer's name; Yokoi, Title, artist name, and dated "Showa 22 nen 8 gatsu"(August in 1947).
