Beautiful woodblock print "Etchu Gokayama Gassho Shuraku" (Etchu Gokayama Gassho Village) is by Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902 - 1999).  Titled "Etchu Gokayama Gassho Shuraku" (Etchu Gokayama Gassho Village) on the lower left margin, edition number 115/200 on the lower right margin. Artist signature "Tomi" with a red seal on the lower-right corner of the image. Hand-signed "T. Tokuriki" in pencil by the artist on the bottom margin.  Serene rainy image of the mountain village. A sparrow is flying in the rain. 

Often called "praying hands", Gassho-zukuri is the traditional Japanese farmhouse of roughhewn dark wooden beams fitted together without nails. These large houses with steep very thick thatched roofs were designed to withstand snowy winters.
