Wonderful woodblock print "Nihyaku toka" (The 1st of September) is by Katsuyuki Nishijima. Printed in 2008. Nihyaku toka refers to the 210th day after the first day of spring. Nihyaku toka falls around the 1st of September on the calendar today. This print shows the beautiful scenery of Sannen-zaka, Kyoto. Very neat atmosphere. Absolutely outstanding fine details and beautiful lines show characteristics of Nishijima very well. Hand-numbered, titled and signed by the artist in pencil. Artist's official red "Shima" seal on the lower right of the image. Limited edition of only 100 prints.
