- Murō-ji (Murō-ji Temple in Spring, Nara) -

The amazing woodblock print "Murō-ji" (Murō-ji Temple in Spring, Nara) is by Masao Ido. Peaceful spring image of Murō-ji Temple in Nara.  Here is a very spiritual place with wonderful nature. The air is always cool and refreshing. This is one of my favorite temples in Nara. Flying pink petals in the wind creates a very soft and beautiful atmosphere.

Murō-ji Temple is a Buddhist temple belonging to the Shingon school, located in the city of Uda, Nara Prefecture. Its five-storied pagoda is one of the oldest standing pagodas in Japan, dating its construction to the 9th century.  (Source: Wikipedia)
