Fine Japanese woodblock print "Kinkaku-Ji, Haru" (Golden Pavilion at Spring) is by Koichi Okumura (1904-1974). A lovely spring image of the Golden Pavillion in Kyoto. This is one of the "Eight Noted Places of Kyoto" series.  Published by Unsodo. This print size is called "Chuban", little bit smaller size than "Oban" size.

Koichi Okumura (1904 - 1974) was an artist in Kyoto who designed woodblock prints for the Unsodo publisher. Okumura was a Nihonga (Japanese-style landscape) painter. He is a well known very famous Japanese painting artist in Japan.

Image size: 9 and 1/2 x 7 inches (24 x 18 cm)
Date: 1950's
Signed: Signature "Koichi" with the red seal on the lower right of the image
