Dated Showa 8 (June 1933) and published by Watanabe. Red Watanabe 6mm round copyright seal lower left in image. Narazaki #206, Hotei #300. Vertical oban. Please notice wonderful baren marks on verso. Small pencil notation lower right. Very nice print for the serious collector. Lifetime edition dated 1933 but printed circa 1946-1957 as indicated by the red 6 mm Watanabe seal.

Condition: Excellent to very good colors with some natural aging. Two drying hole in left margin which is typical this period of printing. Natural rough edge of paper on top margin slightly folded over in storage – please see picture of verso. Verso is extremely clean, no tape, no glue or paper burn.

The Oirase-gawa River flows from Lake Towada-ko and runs through virgin forest rich in a variety of trees mostly white cedar, Japanese beech and maple trees. There are four major waterfalls along the stream. Near Towada City, Aomori Prefecture the area is famous for its splendid landscape and the beauty of colorful autumn leaves
